Who is this journal not for? This journal is NOT for parents who don’t care to improve their relationships and communication with their children. This is NOT for anyone who doesn’t want to spend time bonding and connecting with their children. This journal is definitely NOT for irresponsible parents who don’t want anything at all to do with their children.

The Turning Hearts Journal is based on the Biblical scripture- Malachi 4:6 that talks about "turn[ing] the heart of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children turning to their fathers". When we were searching for a name that best described what this journal program is and does... It is this. It does turn your heart to your children and the hearts of your children to you! It is intended to be used by both parents and one child, but don’t worry, this works for single parents too! And it can even be rotated one-on-one, for example, mom and child can use it one month, and dad and child can use it the next month.

This is more than just 12 dates with your child over the next year. It is a chance to really listen and enter your child's world as you talk heart to heart, soul to soul. It is an opportunity to really understand their problems and challenges. It is a blessing to help them set goals and transform in each area of their life: intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social/emotional. Imagine learning how to help them overcome their challenges together, and allowing them to become the best version of themselves! Because of the bond, connection, and honesty that develops through this program, together you become an unstoppable team that can dream and achieve anything!

After reading countless books and testing many different parenting philosophies, we developed this journal; we’ve been using it for five years now, and have been amazed at how openly and honestly our children have been able to confide in us, especially about intense challenges they were having. We feel called to share this with you, and we hope and we pray (we really do, we don’t just say it, we mean it) that it can bless your life as it has ours, because we know that families are suffering.
